Osram Sylvania Evolves
HMI Globe
Osram Sylvania has introduced a group of single-end HMI
metal-halide lamps that incorporate a doped UV-Stop quartz
outer jacket, which reduces UVB
and UVC emissions up to 99.9
percent. UVS not only extends the
life of fixture components, it also
reduces UV emissions from the
back of fixtures. Most importantly,
HMI lamps equipped with UVS
achieve these benefits without
compromising performance.
New single-end Osram HMI
UVS lamps will come with an orange base
and are available in 200-watt, 400-watt,
575-watt, 800-watt, 1,200-watt, 1,600watt and 1,800-watt versions, delivering
16,000-165,000 lumens with an average
rated life of up to 1,000 hours.
Highly efficient HMI lamps have a
high luminous efficacy of nearly 100 lumens
per watt and are available in single or
double end with wattages ranging from
200-24,000. Osram HMI lamps are dimmable with a hot-restart capacity.
