We have used about 40 of these
and only about 4 or 5 have burned
out. The rest are performing very well
after 100 hours. For our purpose we
prefer the 3300 kelvin.
7500W
We used about 20 of these and had
only 1 burn out after seventy hours.
The rest are performing very well after
the 100 hours used. These lamps are
used in 10,000W housings. Because
we did not receive any 10,000W
lamps from you we used the 7500W
lamps instead. However, in certain
places where they were not strong
enough we did use 10,000W GE
lamps. About 6 of these were used.
With the exceptions as mentioned
above, your lamps have been most
satisfactory. The Kelvin ratings re¬
mained the same throughout. When
we start again on Sept. 3rd we will
continue our log and will give you
another report at the time the lamps
have been used 200 hours, and still
another report at 300 hours. In the
meantime I will let you know if any¬
thing unusual occurs. As in the past I
will save any lamps that burn out so
that you may study them.
Hope to see you when you come

about any new developments.

Dear Henry:
The following are Sylvania's findings
on the lamps which you have been
utilizing on the "MOTHERS-IN-LAW"
series to conduct the ASC test.
1000 Watt
Approximately 50 percent of these
lamps had a structure problem in the
coil. This was in the area between the
main body of the coil and its junction
to the support rods. The tungsten wire
in this area experienced cracking
when it was straightened after having
