"Jeff wanted to reflect
the idea that
although there were
some
strange things going on in
the government, there was still a
sense of basic
goodness there.
Instead of drawing blinds and
darkening rooms, we let the light
in. Sometimes I would
use
hard

day. There's really no best-it's
the body of work for the five guys
that were nominated, and they're
all winners. I'm happy to be in
their

Shooting in the warehouse

unbalanced. We didn't want the
windows to actually blow out,
but we wanted to see trees and
things out the window, to give a
of place. It was kind of
tough to get those stops, because
if you put that kind of light
through a window, it's going to
be hot. We were able to bring
light in to augment, to keep the
windows just where I wanted
them-before the verge of actu¬

It's important-and difficult-to
