Also featured are two BRC-produced, large-format films, To Be An Astro¬
naut anti On Human Destiny, played on the
Space Center Theater. To Be An Astronaut,
presented on a five-storey screen, presents
astronaut training, NASA teams at work
during flights, and personal reflections of
members of the astronaut corps. Shot and
projected in the Iwerks 870 System, the 25minute project was filmed on location at
JSC, Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and
in Utah.

BRC Imagination Arts
In 1986, the NASA/Johnson

Space Center in Houston contacted Walt
Disney Imagineering (WDI)to begin discus¬
sions about designing a visitor's center and
museum on the history of U.S. space explo¬
ration. WDI in turn contacted BRC Imagina¬
tion Arts (then known as Bob Rogers & Com¬
pany), whose talents they had utilized in
their Epcot Center project. Assigned the
task of creating all of Space Center
Houston's show concepts, BRC set out to
create something different from a tradi¬
tional musuem or visitor center, drawing
