Software for Sound Editors
Mixline is a software package
that enables sound editors to create cue
sheets or dubbing charts, and runs on ev¬
ery IBM-compatible computer. It reads
frame counts through an interface that can
be installed on a Steenbeck or any other

editing console. By pressing one key at the
beginning of a sound clip, the user can draw
a line on the computer's virtual dubbing
chart until the end of the clip is reached. A
second tap terminates the line. Lines can
