M E M B E R S IN THE NEWS On The Move Dr. Chandra Mysore has joined environmental consultant Metcalf & Eddy as a vice president. Mysore, who will be based in Atlanta, will have combined national responsibilities as M&E’s water reuse technology director and the technology leader for desalination. Mysore joins M&E from Veolia Water North America, where he was national director of drinking water treatment. BSK Associates, a multi- Vukelich was responsible for leading the Transportation Business Group’s sales efforts in the eastern United States. David Tweedy has been Dr. Chandra Mysore David Tweedy Amer Hussain disciplined engineering firm, appointed Amer Hussain as vice president of engineering. Hussain will continue to serve as the Southern Region Manager, expanding his role to principal in charge of all engineering projects. His added responsibilities include leading efforts to improve the efficiency and quality of BSK’s engineering operations, and finding improvements in project delivery systems. Thornton-Tomasetti promoted Sorin Moisi to senior vice president of its New York office. Moisi currently spearheads the firm’s Structural Evaluation and Rehabilitation group, bringing more than 30 years of experience in structural engineering, design, renovation and investigation projects to the position. Moisi joined the firm in 1983. George Vukelich has joined V3 Companies of Illinois Ltd. as vice president and named a principal consultant at PB Consult, the strategic consulting arm of Parsons Brinckerhoff, an international consulting, engineering and program management organization. Formerly, Tweedy was the first deputy commissioner of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection. Sandra A. Gitlin has joined STV Incorporated as vice Sandra A. Gitlin president and manager of business development for federal programs with the firm’s national Buildings and Facilities Division. She is based in the firm’s Fairfax, Va., office. Kendal Tanner has joined HDR as vice president and Sorin Moisi Kendal Tanner national director of the environmental and resource management group’s designbuild programs. Tanner will be based in the firm’s Boise, Idaho, office. Prior to joining HDR, Tanner held several positions at CH2M HILL, most recently as vice president and environmental business group manager for the Northwest region. Joseph Dennis has joined Arup as general counsel for director of business development. Prior to joining V3, Joseph Dennis the Americas Region. He was formerly with the Syska Hennessy Group.
