ACEC Member Firms entered 158 projects in this year’s EEA competition. A 33-member judging panel of industry experts and professionals from across the nation provided comprehensive analysis to determine the top 24 winners—eight Grand Awards, 16 Honor Awards and the “Grand Conceptor Award” for the year’s best engineering effort. Judging criteria included uniqueness and originality; technical, social and economic value; complexity; success of the project in meeting goals; and advancement of a positive public image of engineering excellence.
