professionals need a career plan now more than ever. Just as the
healthcare environment is no longer predictable, the days of a
linear, traditional career path are well behind us. If the field is
changing dynamically and you're not proactively managing your
career, your progress could be at risk. This session will identify
the key elements of an effective career plan and introduce a
strategic process to enhance your career and professional
development. New career tools and resources developed by
ACHE for members will be featured. The ACHE Career
Resource Center team of Director Michael A. Broscio and
executive coach Jay Scherer, president, Scherer Executive
Advisors, will lead this interactive session designed to benefit
both those seeking career planning assistance and those coaching
others.
Change Management Leadership Assessment*

This 84-item behavioral assessment collects feedback on seven
key change management competencies that range from proactive
thinking to breaking from the past and consolidating new
learning. You will receive a 22-page change management feedback
report that identifies your top 10 strengths and development
needs. Use this to shape personalized development planning to
help you enhance this critical leadership skill. You also will
receive supporting materials that will help you move from being a
change manager to a change leader attuned to the emotional
aspects of an effective change effort.

This assessment uses the Power Base Inventory Instrument to
determine your preferences for using each of six distinct bases of

and how you can use power and influence more effectively.
