DISCUSSION
Implications
The results of the multiple regressions indicated that selection process scores did not
accurately predict the future performance

based on the observed time and resources dedicated to hiring processes (Smailagic & Wiggin,
2014). While candidates may prefer to be evaluated by a variety of interview methods (Stone
& Hanson, 2002), that preference alone is not
justification to continue with such a process if
candidates do not differentiate themselves in
their overall job performance.
When considering alternative hiring processes, it is difficult to determine where to
