Reverse-Engineering the RA Hiring Process
cant results in identifying strong candidates,
information was missing about unsuccessful
candidates who were not selected but may still
have performed well in the RA job. Similarly,
this study also did not illuminate if the scoring
mechanisms within RA hiring processes successfully eliminated candidates who would not
perform satisfactorily in the RA role.
The nontraditional statistical approach of
using results to identify predictor variables
instead of the other way around may concern
some scholars and statisticians. The context
and purpose of the research design in reverse-engineering the hiring process should
minimally allow for practical application and
philosophical consideration within various departments on a localized stage.
