Just In BY THE NUMBERS 75% The Scion Group spends a lot of time talking to students about what they are looking for in campus housing, and sometimes what they find surprises them. Recently, for example, a group of graduate students – a group generally assumed to highly value their privacy – gave preference to a four-bedroom layout over the three-, two-, and one-bedroom varieties and the studio/efficiency formats. Only 59 percent selected a studio/efficiency format. These findings showed that, when considering cost as a factor, it seems that the grads are willing to give up a little privacy if it means saving some money.
