Humber College
Toronto, Ontario, Canada Three-campus system: Lakeshore, North, and Orangeville campuses The North campus is home to 1,013 residents and offers both traditional and suite-style residence options for students. Built in 1990, with a second development in 2004, Humber North Residence is located by the scenic Humber Arboretum and features three interlinked residence buildings. Humber’s Lakeshore campus, built in 2004, provides suite-style accommodations for 427 students. Just west of downtown Toronto, the Lakeshore Campus combines attractive lakefront parkland and historic buildings. A team of 38 resident assistants, 3 live-in residence life coordinators, and 2 residence life managers work to provide an effective and impactful residence life experience for Humber College students. The residence life team works in partnership to provide six living-learning communities, an active residence council, and countless engagement opportunities through programming, a leadership institute, and alternative spring break options. With more than 25 international countries, three Canadian provinces, and a plethora of academic programs represented in the residence population, the Humber College residence system is a diverse, vibrant, and enjoyable place to live.
