Spring 2017 Billing Postcard

Sustainable Living in Lion Nation
There's nothing exciting about billing, but the process is filled
with important dates that students and their parents need to
know. For the Temple team, the challenge was to create a direct
mail design that would jump out of the pile and guide readers to
take action. Using a colorful design and picturesque photo (created by a student
designer no less)
paired with no-frill
instructions, the
team got their
message across.

To efficiently spread the word of sustainability efforts to more
than 5,000 individuals, the marketing team at Loyola Marymount created this advertisement to be placed in the student
newspaper. With its clear message, there was no doubt of its
intention. And the colorful graphics tied in with a host of other
eco-friendly messages the department
shared via social
media outlets.

Global Student Accommodation Group
New Property Hoarding Graphics
For the Global Student Accommodation Group, marketing begins before the hall is
even built. It does that with a colorful billboard that stretches around the construction site and delivers calls-to-action such as "Show suite opening soon" to build anticipation. These sections can be updated as construction progresses with messages
such as "Only 20 rooms left." As one judge described the project, "Messaging was
spot-on to provide an informative, playful, and welcoming voice targeted to build
interest in dense urban housing options while still under construction."
Apparently, the strategy worked well, as this project was at full capacity
10 weeks before opening.
