Welcome!
Along with your colleagues at the American Dental Association, we look forward to seeing you at the 2010 ADA Annual Session in Orlando, Florida. Our theme, “The Future of Dentistry Meets Here,” reflects our focus on exploring new technologies and ideas in the fast-changing field of dentistry, in a continuous effort to serve our patients and our profession. Don’t let the future leave you behind! Attend your Association’s national meeting and take advantage of innovative learning opportunities only the ADA can bring you, including: • Free CE on the exhibit floor featuring hands-on workshops with multiple lasers, live patient demonstrations of 3-D imaging, and more of the latest technologies; • A truly innovative new series of events called the Open Clinical and Science Forums. Hosted by the Council on Scientific Affairs and The Journal of the American Dental Association, clinicians, scientists and expert opinion leaders will present a variety of thought-provoking concepts on some of the most pressing topics of our time, and attendees and the dental industry alike will enjoy a lively discussion and debate about the findings; and • Six Education in the Round courses that feature a live patient procedure in a fullyfunctional dental operatory, with the opportunity to interact with the speaker. This year’s meeting marks the first time the Annual Session has been on the East Coast in five years. Orlando is an exciting destination offering many new opportunities for leisure and adventure, and you’ll notice a lot of changes since the last time the ADA was in Orlando in 2004. Our new location in the North/South building of the Orange County Convention Center offers an excellent meeting environment, while outside the convention center many exciting opportunities await, from new dining options to new attractions in the area’s theme parks. As an extra bonus, the meeting will be held over the Columbus Day holiday—perfect for families with schoolchildren! And for the best in fun at the meeting, don’t miss the exclusive ADA Night at Universal’s Islands of Adventure®, featuring the brand-new Wizarding World of Harry Potter®. The ADA will also provide discounted attraction tickets and a full menu of tours for the entire family. Don’t miss the 2010 Annual Session in Orlando. We’ll see you there! Thank you,
