Sacgasco Now Operator
Of Multi-Tcf Prospects
PERTH, AUSTRALIA-Sacramento
Basin-focused conventional gas producer
and developer Sacgasco Ltd. has signed a
letter of intent to acquire Peregrine Ltd.
The company describes the transaction
as transformational, explaining that it provides an additional 35 percent working interest in and operatorship of the flagship
Dempsey and Alvares natural gas prospects
in California's Sacramento Basin.
"This transaction gives us a majority
working interest and operatorship of two
very significant and drill-ready, multitrillion cubic foot conventional natural gas
prospects," says Sacgasco Managing Director Gary Jeffery. "Now that we have
control of drilling these very compelling
prospects, we are 100 percent focused on
drilling the greater than 1.0 Tcf Dempsey1 prospect as soon as possible, with the
company targeting early 2017 for spudding.
Options also will be considered for the Alvares prospect, which has a best-estimate
recoverable prospective resource of 2.4
Tcf."

CGG Receives Contract To Survey Pemex Subsalt
PARIS-CGG has been awarded a
contract by Pemex to deliver an
orthogonal, wide-azimuth, integrated
solution designed to optimize subsalt
seismic imaging in the geologically
complex deep waters of the Perdido area
in the Gulf of Mexico.
A wide-azimuth survey, covering 10,000
square kilometers, will be acquired perpendicularly over the data CGG acquired
in 2010, the company says. Imaging of
this large-scale dataset for Pemex is expected
to significantly improve illumination of
the targets beneath the complex salt canopy,
CGG describes.

Danos Expands Facility To Serve Permian Basin
GRAY, LA.-Danos, a family-owned
and managed oil field service provider, announces it is expanding its Permian Basin
footprint by adding office and shop space
in Midland. The company says the expansion

HOUSTON-Rubicon Oilfield International reports it has acquired the outstanding
common shares of Logan International
Inc., which it describes as a leading global
supplier of oil-field intervention and production tools.
Rubicon says the transaction gives it a
platform for delivering well production
solutions, complementing its portfolio of
well construction products. Backed by a
significant capital commitment from private
equity firm Warburg Pincus, Rubicon says
it will invest to accelerate growth of all

and automation services, including instrumentation and electrical, construction and
maintenance, control and system integration

The new facility has 7,000 square feet
of office, warehouse and shop space, Danos
reports. The Midland location hosts more
than 200 field employees and a dozen support staff. In the coming months, the company says it expects to continue building
its presence by hiring construction, automation, production services, clerical and
human resource workers.

field tests, PCS assures. For example, in
a Bridgeport, Tx., well producing five
barrels of oil and 500 Mcf of gas a day,
it replaced a traditional nine-inch sleeve
and stainless steel ball. The well had a
depth of 6,760 feet and slight tubing irregularities, the company notes.
After three months, the new plunger
traveled 4,735 round trips in the well,
consistently running at 11.5 minutes a
trip, PCS relates. It increased oil production 40 percent and gas production
10 percent, the company says.
