Pump User Roundtable is scheduled for

Pason Licenses System That Accelerates Drilling
SPRING, TX.-ExxonMobil announces it has awarded Pason Systems
Inc. the first global license for its patented
Drilling Advisory System™, a key component of ExxonMobil's Fast Drill™ technology suite.
The licensing agreement accelerates
the technology's commercialization by
combining Pason's drilling data expertise
with ExxonMobil's experience in drilling
surveillance and optimization, ExxonMobil says.
According to ExxonMobil, Fast Drill
combines high-end drilling physics modeling with structured well planning and
design to identify limiters and maximize
performance. Since it introduced the
process more than a decade ago, the
company says its drilling rate has improved 80 percent.

Enterprise To Process Gas
From Ultra's Pinedale Field
HOUSTON-Enterprise Products Partners LP has renegotiated and extended an
agreement with Ultra Petroleum Corp. to
process natural gas from Ultra's production
in the Pinedale Field of southwestern
Wyoming. Enterprise says the agreement
secures a 20-year supply of natural gas for
its Pioneer cryogenic processing facility in
Sublette County, Wy.
The Pioneer facility has a total capacity
of 750 million cubic feet a day and can extract as many as 36,000 barrels a day of
natural gas liquids, Enterprise reports. The
company says its Mid-America Pipeline
can deliver NGLs to the most attractive
markets along the Gulf Coast.
"We are pleased to enter into this agreement with Ultra, which continues our relationship with one of the region's top
producers," comments A.J. "Jim" Teague,
chief executive officer of Enterprise's general partner. "We expect our Pioneer facility to operate near full capacity for the next
five to 10 years. In addition to providing
Enterprise with a long-term supply of
NGLs for our integrated assets, the agreement illustrates our commitment and capability to provide our customers with flow
assurance and reliability from the wellhead
to markets."

The Drilling Advisory System automates and enables implementation of
the Fast Drill process in real time on the
rig floor by integrating ExxonMobil's
proprietary modeling with data analytics,
ExxonMobil says. The company credits
the system for improving drilling performance in nine fields.

Camber Acquires Leases In Permian's Central Basin
HOUSTON-Camber Energy Inc., an
independent oil and gas company with operations in Texas and Oklahoma, reports it
has acquired a leasehold position in the
Permian Basin in Texas.
In December 2016, Camber relates, it
formed an area of mutual interest with a
privately held, Houston-based oil and gas
holding company in the Central Basin Platform of the Permian Basin, targeting 20,000
net mineral acres for acquisition.
The initial leasehold includes 16,322
gross (3,630 net) mineral acres, Camber
details. The company says the transaction
gives it 90 percent working interest in the
properties and access to the holding company's regional technical database, including
its core sample and log libraries.

Camber reports it paid $1.43 million
for the initial leasehold and will operate
the properties. The company says it will
be targeting the San Andres formation,
which is found at shallow depths averaging
4,800 feet and has produced 6 billion
barrels of oil, with 2 billion barrels coming
from the Central Basin Platform.
Since the first horizontal well was drilled
in the San Andres formation's residual oil
zone in 2014, more than 100 wells have
been drilled, Camber observes. The play
resembles the Hunton play in Oklahoma,
where Camber says it is using a dewatering
process pioneered by its chairman to
produce large quantities of oil and gas.
