Badger Meter Selects NOW
As International Distributor
HOUSTON- DNOW LP, NOW Inc.'s
U.S. subsidiary, reports it has signed an
exclusive international distribution agreement with Badger Meter. DNOW will
distribute and service the diverse line of
Badger Meter flow measurement and
control technologies to oil and gas customers worldwide.
Robert Workman, NOW's president
and chief executive officer, says the agreement completes the company's offering
of flow control solutions for the oil and
gas market. He notes the company's flow
control solutions now include pipeline
meters and valves.

screws and potential leak paths.
The quick connect hub lets operators
align, land and secure the blowout preventer on the wellhead faster than a
conventional flange connection, reducing
rig-up time from two hours to less than
30 minutes, Weir reports.
In addition, the Seaboard ULR features
a nested system within a single-piece
housing, Weir says, explaining that this
shortens stack-up height and reduces
weight. A threaded flange on top of the
wellhead provides operators with a faster,
more secure switchover to an API-threaded
hub. Combined, Weir says these improvements limit exposure to a dangerous environment, eliminating the need for multiple
assemblies and wellhead preparations.
