Flaring solution provider ASHCOR
LLC has hired Mike Diehl as sales
manager. He will oversee the company's
business development efforts, with a
focus on the Permian region and Texas
as a whole.
Diehl has 30 years of oil and gas experience, especially in technical sales and
business management. He has worked
for a variety of companies, including
Weatherford International, Thrubit,
Schlumberger and Zeotech Corp. Diehl
has received multiple awards for his sales
abilities, including the Anticipate the Win
Team Award 2015 and the Top Gun
Award during his time at Weatherford. r

Foothill Energy LLC, a California-focused
company he founded in 2004 after serving
as president and CEO of Venoco Inc., an
exploration, drilling and production company operating primarily in California
that he co-founded in 1992.
Eson is a board member and former

Petroleum Association, and has been a
member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers for 30 years.

Aaron Sinnott has joined Volant,
which provides well casing and liner solutions, as general manager for Volant
Oil Tools US. Sinnott previously worked
for Weatherford, and has 25 years of experience, ranging from field operations
to global oversight, in tubular running
services and well integrity.

HORN, a North American distributor
of specialty chemicals and raw materials,
has hired Richard A. Bolen as senior
account manager for HORN Advanced
Materials.
Bolen has 30 years of experience in
oil and gas sales. He comes from Kerui
Petroleum, where he was chemical line
sales manager for the United States.
Other past positions include executive
roles for drilling product manufacturers,
such as vice president of sales and operations for Tierra Fluids, a corporate
sales role for Alpine Specialty Chemicals,
and operations manager at SUN Drilling
Products.

Eson-a member of its board-as its chief

The National Ocean Industries Association has promoted Tim Charters to
vice president of governmental and political affairs.
Charters joined NOIA as a senior director in June 2017, after serving as vice
president of governmental and regulatory
affairs at the National Stripper Well Association. He has nearly 20 years of congressional experience, including time as
staff director of the Energy and Mineral
Resources Subcommittee of the U.S.
House Natural Resources Committee, director of policy coordination for the full
committee, and legislative director for
U.S. Representative Steve Pearce, R-N.M.

The American Petroleum Institute has
named Ben Marter its director of communications.
Marter has spent almost a decade in
communication roles on Capitol Hill,

most recently as communications director
for U.S. Senate Democratic Whip Dick
Durbin, D-Il., where he developed and
advanced strategic communications for
the Senate Democratic Caucus. Before
that, he was communications director
for Senator Chris Murphy, D-Ct., and
former U.S. Representative Betsy
Markey, D-Co.

Wellsite Fishing and Rental Services
LLC, a provider of drilling and completion rental equipment, has promoted
Jessica Roger to vice president of administration. She will be located at the
corporate office in Broussard, La.
Roger, who previously served as
Wellsite's secretary and treasurer, will
be responsible for overseeing internal
administration; directing administrative
functions in accordance with industry
standards, regulatory requirements and
company policies; and leading, guiding
and mentoring staff.
She is a member of the Women's
Energy Network, the Louisiana Oil &
Gas Association and the American Petroleum Institute. r
Hunter Oil Corp., which owns and
operates two fields in the Permian Basin,
has appointed Al H. Denson as its chief
executive officer. He succeeds Andrew
Hromyk, who is assuming the new role
of executive chairman.
Denson has 42 years of exploration
and production experience, beginning
his career in 1976 with Amoco Corporation (now BP), where he held engineering, operational and management
roles in the United States and abroad.
He has served Hunter as a director and
member of the company's operating
committee since 2014.
