Of Global Heat Transfer

Pioneer Will Distribute Union Tech Ball Valves
HOUSTON-Union Tech and Pioneer
Industrial have announced an agreement
through which Pioneer will distribute
Union Tech's severe-service, metal-seated
and rising-stem ball valves throughout
the Midwest.
Union Tech describes Pioneer as the
Midwest's premier sales and service organization for valves, pumps and fluid
sealing products, with operations across
eight states, empowered by more than
100 professionals.
Union Tech says its severe-service,
metal-seated ball valve products include:
· The Z1 unibody power valve engineered for clean-steam environments;
· The Z2 two-piece isolation ball

HOUSTON-Forum Energy Technologies
Inc. has acquired the stock of Houston
Global Heat Transfer (GHT) from Pelican
Energy Partners, an oil field services-focused
private equity firm, and GHT management.
Forum says GHT builds premium industrial heat exchanger and cooling systems
used primarily on fracturing equipment.
Its flagship product, the JumbotronTM, is
a cube-style radiator that substantially reduces customer maintenance expenses.
"This acquisition is another step in
Forum's strategy to expand our completions segment," comments President and
Chief Executive Officer Prady Iyyanki.
"GHT's radiators complement our portfolio of hydraulic fracturing equipment
and have a maintenance schedule that is
similar to our power ends. Being part of
Forum will allow the GHT team to expand

Roxar FSM Log 48 Monitor Detects Pipeline Corrosion
STAVANGER, NORWAY-The Roxar
FSM Log 48 Area Corrosion Monitor™
provides remote, continuous online
pipeline corrosion and erosion monitoring,
says Emerson Automation Solutions.
With the "48" referring to the number
of pins in the sensing pin matrix, the
Roxar FSM Log 48 is capable of distinguishing between localized and generalized corrosion, thereby helping to
reduce the need for pigging and other
costly inspection methods, Emerson says.

Emerson says the Roxar FSM Log
48 uses WLAN and cellular data transfer
protocols and built-in solar power options
that reduce maintenance and personnel
requirements. It is designed to work for
both uncovered and buried pipelines, and
may be installed on bottom pipe sections
where water collection is most likely.
The company adds that the system uses
the nonintrusive field signature method
to detect corrosion, and can detect generalized corrosion as small as 0.1 percent
of wall thickness for outer pipeline diameters between six and 48 inches. r

HENDERSON Acquires
Fabrication Specialist
HOUSTON-HENDERSON, which
specializes in selling and servicing drilling
rigs and capital drilling equipment, has
acquired all the assets and ongoing operations of HP Piping Solutions, which HENDERSON describes as a leader in high
specification/high pressure fabrication.
HENDERSON says HP Piping offers
high-pressure mud piping, mud gas separators, relief loops, well control manifolds
and other drilling-related products. Its
Genesis Pressure Control Group manufactures blowout preventer control units,
nitrogen backup systems and reservoir
filtration units.
"This acquisition fulfills an urgent requirement for more rig service capacity in
the growing North American oil and gas
