The EnerLITE direct emulsion system provides a
simple solu�on for density control in freshwater
and saturated brine environments. In the Permian
Basin, EnerLITE was introduced to drill from the
surface casing shoe through the salt sec�on all the
way through the intermediate sec�on, elimina�ng
a second casing string. Using EnerLITE resulted in
an average savings of $750-820K per well.

Record Setting Laterals in the Northeast
Shale Plays
AES VERT is a robust, ﬂexible invert emulsion
drilling ﬂuid system that provides all of the
beneﬁts of invert emulsion with maximum
opera�onal eﬃciency. In one record-se�ng
campaign, a 20,362' lateral sec�on (28775'
measured depth) was drilled in 5.65 days using
a 12.5 lbm/gal AES VERT. In the Permian Basin,
AES VERT has delivered hundreds of wells
across the wide spectrum of drilling challenges
throughout the region.
