Equinor's Offshore Fleet To Use NOV's Wired Pipe
HOUSTON-National Oilwell Varco
Inc. reports it has signed a frame agreement
with Equinor ASA through which NOV
will provide IntelliServ™ wired drill pipe
for Equinor's global fleet of offshore
drilling rigs.
This agreement follows field deployments that demonstrate the value of highspeed telemetry in multiple applications
across Equinor's fleet, NOV says.
The initial agreement is for three and
a half years, but the company notes it has
provisions for as many as five two-year
extensions.

Titan Installs 17,000 Feet Of Casing Without Diesel
CODY, WY.-In partnership with one
of the largest exploration, drilling and production companies in Colorado and Ensign
USD, Titan Casing reports it successfully
has used a drilling rig's hydraulic system
to operate casing power tongs.

Basin, Titan Casing ran a 17,000-foot

HOUSTON-Gardner Denver Petroleum
& Industrial Pumps has added Fluid Transfer Technology (FTTI) of Barberton, Oh.,
and O'Connell Jetting Systems of Benicia,
Ca., to its rental partnership program.
FTTI has serviced Gardner Denver
pumps for the well service and petroleum
industries for almost two decades, while
O'Connell Jetting has been selling and
servicing Gardner Denver equipment
for more than 40 years, Gardner Denver
reports.
"We have worked with Gardner Denver
pumps and recommended them for years.
They are excellent pumps, and the Gardner
Denver team is very easy to work with,"
says George Santin, FTTI's owner. "To
be able to rent the units in (Ohio) only
makes sense. This service is going to
leave a lot of customers very satisfied
with the unit output and the overall renting
experience itself."
Together with its facility in Pasadena,
Tx., FFTI and O'Connell give Gardner
Denver three U.S. locations through which
it provides water jetting systems and hydrostatic testers for industrial and oil and
gas applications. The company points
out that its water jets can deliver pressures
as high as 40,000 psi.

Noting that hydraulic power units consume 30-35 gallons of diesel during a
typical casing job, Titan says its technology
could save thousands of gallons of diesel

the risk of hazardous spills as well as
less traffic and obstacles on site, the company says eliminating diesel greatly reduces noise.

PEOPLE
The American Petroleum Institute
has hired Kevin Servick as central region campaign manager for its external
mobilization team in Ohio. He will
enhance API's regional network of industry advocates who help advance
pro-energy policies.
Servick has experience in grass-roots
development and political campaigns.
He served as campaign manager and
senior adviser for Ohio Auditor of State
Dave Yost, managing day-to-day operations for the successful Dave Yost for
Attorney General campaign.
API's federal division has named Kenny Roberts director of federal relations
for midstream. Roberts' past roles include
leading the Congressional Hispanic Caucus
Institute's regional development efforts.
He also served on the Hillary for America
Campaign in 2016, working closely with

former President Bill Clinton and Secretary
Clinton. Before his time on the campaign,
he was managing director at the American
Leadership Academy.
Elia Quintana has joined API's federal division as director of stakeholder
relations. She will lead API's Energy
Research Collaborative, which focuses
on workforce development and engaging
with nontraditional allies.
Quintana was an ERC participant,
representing the Hispanic Association
on Corporate Responsibility, where she
served as vice president of corporate
relations. Before HACR, Elia directed
corporate relations for LULAC National
Education Service Centers, championing
diversity and inclusion initiatives and
focusing on career readiness and leadership development programs for underserved communities.
