BP Selects TechnipFMC
For Subsea Engineering
HOUSTON-BP has awarded FMC an
integrated engineering, procurement, construction and installation (iEPCI™) contract for the Atlantis Phase 3 project.
Following final investment decisions
from all partners, TechnipFMC says it is
to manufacture, deliver and install subsea
equipment, including subsea tree systems,
manifolds, flowlines, umbilicals and
subsea tree jumpers, pipeline end terminations, subsea distribution and topside
control equipment. The company mentions
that the contract also includes provisional
services for tooling and personnel required
to install the hardware.
"This award reinforces TechnipFMC's
position as the market and technology
leader for subsea equipment and demonstrates the added value of iEPCI, our
unique integrated offering," says Arnaud
Pieton, TechnipFMC's subsea president.
The Atlantis Phase 3 field is 150 miles
south of New Orleans at a water depth of
6,800 feet and will be tied back to the
existing platform, TechnipFMC notes.

Hi-Crush To Provide CNX With Northern White Sand
HOUSTON-Hi-Crush Partners LP
reports it has entered into a long-term
fracture sand supply agreement for the
in-basin purchase of Northern White
frac sand to support CNX Resources
Corp.'s completion program in the Marcellus and Utica plays. In addition, CNX
will employ one FB silo system and related logistics, with the option to expand
based on demand.

Compact Perforating Gun Streamlines Completions
MILLSAP, TX.-GEODynamics Inc.'s
new HELLFire™ perforating system allows the oil and gas industry to more effectively complete multistage plug-andperf operations, GEODynamics reports.
With a total length of 9.5 inches for
each cluster, the short-bodied HELLFire
system reduces tool string length and
delivers more clusters in each stage,
GEODynamics says. The company indicates that increasing the cluster count
per stage will improve well production

name, with the remainder retaining the
Lowery name. "Lowery's line of API
Spec Q1-certified, made-in-the-USA wellheads are a perfect complement to the
WNS product mix," comments Jeff Smith,
operations manager for WNS.
Smith points out that EZ Flow Control
and Talco will remain stand-alone brands.
"Consistent across all brands is our commitment to maintaining inventory and
