Rockwell, Schlumberger Form Automation Expert

and Schlumberger have partnered to form
Sensia, which they describe as the first
fully integrated provider of measurement
solutions, domain expertise, and automation to the oil and gas industry.
According to Rockwell and Schlumberger, the joint venture will offer scalable, cloud and edge-enabled process
automation, including information and
process safety solutions. From intelligent

HOUSTON-Liberty Lift Solutions
Inc. has expanded its ability to install
and service artificial lift equipment by
opening a facility in Hobbs, N.M.
The new facility, at 3210 N. Bensing
Road in Hobbs, initially will focus on
installing and servicing the company's
beam pumping and XL Long Stroke
pumping unit products, Liberty Lift says.
"We have experienced a continued increase in activity for our products in the
active Delaware Basin, and are expanding
our service capabilities for customers in
the area with this new facility. While
Hobbs initially will focus on our pumping
units, we will have capabilities to install
and service our other artificial lift offerings

Target Lodging To Build
Permian Basin Housing
THE WOODLANDS, TX.-Platinum
Eagle Acquisition Corp. and Target Logistics Management LLC ("Target Lodging") say Target Lodging has been awarded
contracts to build a 400-bed community
in Carlsbad, N.M.
According to the companies, the facility
should open in the third quarter. They
say it will feature single-occupancy rooms
with private bathrooms, 24-hour culinary
services, housekeeping and security.

that improve operations, facilitate business
decisions and reduce total cost of ownership throughout the life of a field."
The partners say the transaction is expected to close this summer, subject to
regulatory approvals and other customary
conditions.

Gardner Denver Hosts
Permian Basin Students
HOUSTON-Gardner Denver Petroleum
& Industrial Pumps hosted students from
the University of Texas Permian Basin at
its Odessa plant, part of a company program
to help develop local talent in communities
where its facilities are located.
"We are thrilled to give students the
opportunity to tour one of our Permian
Basin facilities and help them see firsthand
what it would be like to work on a
fracture pump," says Lauren Benson,
Gardner Denver's human resources business partner. "We enjoy giving back to
the community and hope the students
found the tour to be an educational and
memorable experience,"
The company says the students toured
its fracture pump aftermarket facility, and
attended a Pump University class. Gardner
Denver points out the Odessa facility, located at TX-191 E, provides full pump
repairs, new fluid ends, consumables and
parts, and is part of its 24/7 field service
and customer support network.

Inc., a nonprofit organization that helps
develop e-business standards for the oil
and gas industry, has named Stephanie
Waters of Chevron its president.
Waters will continue to serve as the
procurement/supply chain enablement
manager at Chevron. During her 20year tenure at the company, she has implemented and deployed digital change
initiatives as well as chaired the IT Oil
and Gas Benchmark Group.

Legacy Reserves Inc., an independent with assets in the Permian Basin,
East Texas, Rocky Mountain and MidContinent regions, has named Robert
L. Norris chief financial officer.

Norris has 15 years of experience in
the energy industry. Before joining
Legacy, he served as a principal at The
Catalyst Group, an Austin-based private
equity fund, where he was responsible for
sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities, structuring and negotiating
transactions, leading due diligence and
managing portfolio investments, including several in the oil and gas industry.
Previously, Norris held senior strategy
and corporate development roles at Oil
States International Inc. and its spin-off,
Civeo Corporation.

The Louisiana Oil & Gas Association has hired Kati Hyer as director of
social media and public relations. She
will spearhead the organization's social
and digital media strategy.
With 10 years of experience in the
corporate, public, non-profit and private sectors, Hyer has expertise in
communications strategy, project management, integrated marketing and
digital tactics. She sits on the board of
directors for the GSU Toastmasters
Club in Baton Rouge.
