TGS To Gather Seismic
On STACK Play's Core
HOUSTON-TGS has announced a multiclient onshore 3-D seismic project-South
Hackberry 3D-located on the east flank of
the Anadarko Basin in the Oklahoma counties of Garfield, Kingfisher and Logan.
The South Hackberry survey extends
TGS's seismic data coverage in the core
of the STACK trend, TGS says. The 136mile project will be merged with Hackberry Complex 3D data to encompass
410 square miles. In this area, the company
says the subsurface is characterized by a
strong structural overprint with faulting
at the Mississippian and deeper levels.
Recording should be complete during
the third quarter, TGS mentions. The
company says it will process the data
with its modern land imaging technology
and offer a full suite of reservoir characterization products.

HOUSTON-Quorum Software has acquired Coastal Flow Measurement Inc.,
a family of energy measurement services
and software companies. Quorum points
out that the transaction includes FlowCal Inc., which provides gas and liquid
measurement software built for the hydrocarbon industry.

of needs, from operations to accounting,
