TGS Turns Partial Logs Into Quad-Combo Suites
OSLO, NORWAY-TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company has released Analytics
Ready LAS, a well log prediction tool.
ARLAS log prediction algorithms
calculate missing log curves and fill in
gaps to give customers complete coverage
from top to bottom, standardized, and
ready for optimal analytic results, TGS
describes. Using as little as one gamma
ray, bulk density, neutron porosity, sonic
P-wave or deep resistivity curve, TGS

says, the algorithms can turn every
ASCII-standard log into a complete
quad-combo suite.
Analytics Ready LAS draws on highdensity data and blind testing, utilizing
more than 75 machine learning models
in each basin, to produce incredible details and accuracies well above 90% for
most curves, TGS says.

Ondas To Offer Wireless
In Alaska, Gulf of Mexico
SUNNYVALE, CA.-Ondas Holdings
Inc. reports it has agreed to acquire 700
megahertz spectrum licenses throughout
Alaska and the Gulf of Mexico. The company says the acquisition allows its subsidiary, Ondas Networks Inc., to offer
private mobile and fixed wireless services
in the licensed areas.
The Alaska license covers the entire
state and extends 12 miles from the coastline to include the Alaska Marine Highway,
Ondas details. The company says the
Gulf of Mexico license spans 230,000
square miles, starting 12 miles off shore
and extending along the 1,600-mile U.S.
coastline from the Mexican border to the
Florida Keys. Ondas adds that it is acquiring licenses for three coastal counties:
Calhoun and Jefferson in Texas and
Cameron Parish in Louisiana.
The company says it can provide wireless service for as much as 3,000 square
miles with a single base station, compared
with typical LTE coverage of less than
30 square miles. "Ondas Networks' FullMAX private licensed wireless network
solution requires radically less infrastructure to deploy service, which allows us
to offer economical service," states Eric
Brock, Ondas Holdings' chairman and
chief executive officer.
