HOUSTON-Titan Rock Exploration
& Production LLC, a private equitybacked upstream company based in Dallas,
has selected Quorum Software's upstream
oil and gas solutions to support its assets,
Quorum reports.
Titan chose Quorum's cloud-based
production allocations and reporting,
SCADA monitoring and land management solutions, Quorum specifies. Titan
Chief Executive Officer Robert Martinez
says the company preferred these solutions, which are available through a software-as-a-service model, in part because
they have the ability to scale with the
business's growth.

TGS Acquires Provider
Of U.S. Production Data
HOUSTON-TGS reports it has acquired Lasser Inc., a Fort Worth-based
company that provides historical and
monthly oil and gas production data.
Lasser owns, maintains and licenses a
nationwide well production database. The
data will be added to TGS' Well Performance Database, TGS says, mentioning
that all production data undergoes proprietary processes to standardize and allocate production to the well level. According to the company, clients can expect
complete production histories and highquality data and forecasts alongside completion data, which is allocated to individual wellbores.
"Lasser's vast well performance data
library will further solidify TGS' production data offering," comments Katja
Akentieva, executive vice president of
onshore and well data at TGS. "Now
our customers will have the information
they need, all in one place, to help estimate reserves and forecast reservoir
performance, leading to better production overall."
