BENBROOK, TX.-Wheeler Resource
Recovery announces it has broken ground
on its eleventh two-well package in its
historically successful waterflood project
in Madison County, Tx.
The package is one of 27 planned for

Offers Gas Alarms For Extreme Environments
SHAKOPEE, MN.-Emerson reports
it has introduced two open path gas detectors
for extreme environments, including
areas with vibration and temperatures
as cold as -67 degrees F or as
hot as 149 degrees F.
The Rosemount™ 935 combustible
gas detector uses infrared technology to
detect combustible hydrocarbon gases
such as methane, propane and ethylene,
Emerson details. According to statistics
from the Center for Disease Control's
National Institute for Occupational Safety
and Health, 22% of all fatalities in oil
and gas come from explosions and exposure
to hazardous gases.
The Rosemount™ 936 Open Path
toxic gas detector uses ultraviolet technology
to detect hydrogen sulfide and
ammonia, Emerson reports. By leveraging
xenon flash technology, the Rosemount
936 has greater installation flexibility
than tunable diode lasers, which need
perfect alignment between beam and receiver
for high reliability, Emerson comments.
With nearly twice the tolerance
for misalignment as TDL, the company
calculates, users can save as much as
30% in installation time.

Latest Version Of RokDoc
Runs Tasks Much Faster
HOUSTON-Ikon Science has released
a new version of RokDoc, which it presents
as a comprehensive portfolio of rock
physics, geopressure, geologic modeling
and geomechanics solutions for making
subsurface predictions.
" Version 2021.4 of RokDoc (focuses)
on performance, user experience and expanded
