Brundrett Chosen As
New OOGA President
COLUMBUS, OH.-The Ohio Oil &
Gas Association's Board of Trustees has
named Robert Brundrett as the
association's president, reports OOGA
Chairman Bruce Levengood.
According to OOGA, Brundrett has
spent the past decade in multiple roles
at The Ohio Manufacturers'
Association, most recently serving as
managing director of public policy
services. In that capacity, he was
responsible for coordinating policy for
the association and developing and
implementing its political, legislative
and regulatory strategies. He also served
as director of legislative affairs for the
Ohio Auditor of State and worked in
both the Ohio House of Representatives
and the Ohio Senate.
" Robert's years of experience
working in trade associations and his
familiarity with public policy and the
state legislature make him a
tremendous choice to lead our
association, " Levengood affirms. " I
look forward to working together in the
years ahead to serve our members and
benefit our industry. "

A native of Troy, Oh., Brundrett
earned a law degree from Cleveland
State University and an undergraduate

Two Ovintiv STACK Sites
Yield Almost 10,000 bbl/d
DENVER-Published reports are
highlighting a pair of prolific STACK
formation sites operated by Ovintiv
Inc. in Kingfisher County, Ok.
According to OK Energy Today,
Ovintiv filed reports in early February
that indicate nearly 10,000 barrels a
day of production from a pair of sites.
The Mike 1708 wells about nine miles
outside the city of Kingfisher, Ok., are
producing about 5,000 bbl/d, with the
most prolific well yielding 2,159 bbl/d
and 2,927 Mcf of natural gas from a
drilled depth of 18,950 feet upon
completion in August 2021.
Meanwhile, OK Energy Today says,
Ovintiv completed five wells on the
west side of Kingfisher with combined
production from the M&M Fed and
Pearl PIU wells at 4,556 bbl/d. Output

included 1,132 bbl/d and 5,042 Mcf/d
from M&M Fed 1607 3h-20x; and
1,438 bbl/d and 3,152 Mcf/d from the
M&M Fed 1607 2h-20x.
According to Ovintiv's fourth
quarter and year-end financial and
operating results, the company's fourth
quarter Anadarko Basin production
averaged 133,000 barrels of oil
equivalent a day, 61% of it liquids.
The company averaged two gross rigs
and drilled nine net wells. Ovintiv
adds that drilling and completion costs
were 8% lower than the 2020 program
average, while 2021 STACK wells'
six-month normalized cumulative oil
production was 10% greater than the
2020 program. ❒
