Archrock Allies With Ecotec To Decarbonize Production
COLTON, CA.-Ecotec International
Holdings LLC announces a strategic minority
equity investment by Archrock
Inc., a provider of natural gas compression
equipment and services. Alongside the
investment, Archrock will begin offering
Ecotec's solutions to its customers in
support of their sustainability goals.
The strategic investment by Archrock
will accelerate Ecotec's expansion into
the oil and gas industry, Ecotec predicts.
The company says it has more than 30
years' experience providing methane solutions
in the natural gas, biogas, carbon
credit and air quality industries. These
solutions include instrumentation and
software that provide accurate and directly
measured emissions data, which the
company assures can be auditable by
third parties.

Helmerich & Payne Backs On-Site Gas Liquefaction
LONDON-Galileo Technologies, a
company that deploys technology to
capture natural gas from any source and
convert it into liquefied natural gas on
site, reports it has secured a cornerstone
investment from Helmerich & Payne.
H&P invested $33 million into the
company in the form of a convertible
note that bears interest of 5% a year
and is due April 2027, Galileo details.
If exercised, the company calculates,
the note would convert into common
shares of Galileo at an enterprise value
of $1.35 billion.
H&P and Galileo indicate they plan
to identify and pursue business development
opportunities that have the potential
to reduce fuel costs and carbon
emissions from power consumption on
well sites. Galileo says H&P's wide
network of drilling sites provides significant
opportunity for widespread application
of the liquefaction technology
in North America.

Series B Funding Round
HOUSTON-ComboCurve, which provides
a cloud-based energy analytics and
operating platform, announces it has raised
$50 million through a Series B funding
round led by Dragoneer Investment Group
and Bessemer Venture Partners.
ComboCurve indicates the additional
capital will allow it to accelerate core
product enhancements while expanding
into other workflows, including greenhouse
gas emissions forecasting, scheduling and
modeling renewable energy sources.
