Daniel Kohl has joined Opportune

major U.S. basin. Before Opportune, he
served as head of acquisitions and divestitures
advisory at UBS. Kohl began

in various technical roles with a focus

Foundation has promoted Katie
Burk to the new leadership position of
foundation managing director. Burk has
spent 15 years with SEG. Her new responsibilities
will include promoting collaboration
and partnership across the organization;
providing leadership and
guidance in establishing and implementing
strategic direction, policies, procedures;
and engaging with key donors and stakeholders
to further the foundation's mission
and to support SEG programs.

The American Petroleum Institute has
CNX Resources Corp. has promoted
Donald W. Rush from chief financial
officer to chief strategy officer. Rush
successfully navigated CNX through a
series of transformative transactions
that evolved the company into an Appalachian
Basin producer with low operating
costs and carbon intensity.
Alan K. Shepard will succeed Rush
as CFO. Shepard has served in numerous
finance leadership capacities across
his 20-year career, most recently as
CNX's chief accounting officer. Before
rejoining CNX in 2020, he was CFO
of EdgeMarc Energy.

In his new role, Comstock will support

years' industry experience, including 18

the corporate policy team. Before joining
the organization, Comstock was a tax attorney
with ExxonMobil. He also has
been an adjunct professor at Georgetown
Law School and previously chaired the
Energy and Environmental Taxes ComPOWELL
RAMIREZ
Valor,
an asset management and professional
services company specializing
in oil and gas mineral rights, has promoted
Adam Powell from director of
accounting and risk management to
chief accounting officer.
Powell has extensive experience in
accounting and auditing both public and
privately held assets in the oil and gas,
manufacturing, distribution and healthcare
industries. A member of both the Texas
Society of CPAs and the American Institute
of CPAs, he was named a finalist
in D CEO Magazine's 2022 Financial
Executive Awards.
Cathy Ramirez has become Valor's
director of oil and gas accounting. She
previously served as controller. Before
joining Valor, Ramirez held comptroller
positions for several operators, including
Acacia Exploration, HighMark Energy
Operating, Longview Energy and Pacesetter
Energy. She also spent more than
a decade in public accounting, specializing
in cost accounting, general ledger,
financial reporting, human resources,
tax return preparation and fixed assets.

SIEBENLIST
SPOC has named Paul Siebenlist
its design and e-tools manager. In this
role, he will lead a team of mechanical
engineers working on next-generation
designs; set up version control systems
for documentation; and oversee products
for SPOC Grid Inverter Technologies,
which provides hybrid microgrids.
Siebenlist began his career at Eaton as
a mechanical designer, and spent the next
27 years in design with a focus on electrical
component packaging for industrial applications.
He completed his tenure at
Eaton as lead technologist, heading a
global team responsible for designing enclosed
drives, as well as training users on
Cad and PLM tool corporate standards.

Project Canary, which uses continuous
monitoring to certify natural gas as responsibly
produced, has named Tanya
Hendricks its chief commercial officer.
Hendricks past positions include acting
chief operating officer of Enverus, the
world's largest energy-focused softwareas-a-service
company. She also was a
lecturer at the McCombs School of Business
at the University of Texas at Austin
and associate director of the McCombs
Energy Center. Before joining McCombs,
Hendricks worked as a director at Duff
and Phelps, an international advisory firm.
