Survey Finds GDEP Excels At Customer Satisfaction
HOUSTON-GD Energy Products reports
it has achieved top ratings in customer
satisfaction in the 2022 Oilfield
Products Customer Satisfaction Survey,
conducted by EnergyPoint Research.
The annual survey, which originated
in 2007, is one of several EnergyPoint
studies focused on the oil and gas industry's
satisfaction with products and
services. More than 50 major global
suppliers of oil field equipment and materials
were listed in this year's survey,

Platts Adds WTI Midland
To European Benchmark
LONDON-Platts says it will reflect
WTI Midland crude oil cargoes in its
Dated Brent, Cash BFOE and related assessments
across the Brent complex beginning
with June 2023 cargo deliveries. The
company explains that WTI Midland has
become a mainstay for European refiners
since the U.S. oil export ban was lifted.
WTI Midland's inclusion will extend
across the Brent complex, including
Dated Brent price assessments, the
benchmark for North Sea light sweet
crude and reference point for around twothirds
of the world's oil trade, Platts
notes. With this change, physical cargoes
of WTI Midland crude could be bid or offered
in the Platts Market-On-Close price
assessment process for Dated Brent from
the first publication day in May 2023, and
the associated June Cash BFOE value assessed
from February 2023.

Barnes obtained eight total patents leading
to major technological advancements
in the managed services space and overall
improvements to source code, defect tracking,
and automated testing, Enertia relates.
The company says his latest patent involves
an automated approach to determining the
amount of effort and risk required to transition
to a new version of software.

Aid To Saltwater Disposal
HOUSTON-Locus Bio-Energy Solutions®

the company describes as a line of biosurfactant-based
saltwater disposal well
injectivity aids that are designed to reduce
costs and improve skim oil recovery.
The novel additives increase SWD
wells' water injectivity rates by at least
70% compared with conventional alternatives,
Locus Bio-Energy reports. Made
from natural, biodegradable starting materials,
FloBoost aids keep solids dispersed
in the saltwater to maximize injection
volumes at lower injection pressures and
enable significant power cost savings,
the company says.
The additives also improve injectivity
by dissolving and penetrating existing
filter cakes on the formation wall to increase
effective permeability, and by preventing
downhole emulsion formation
and pore blockages, Locus Bio-Energy
continues. The company adds that FloBoost
minimizes filter change frequency
and maximizes skim oil recovery.

INEOS has christened the Pacific INEOS Grenadier, a very large ethane carrier (VLEC)
with a capacity of 99,000 cubic meters. The ship is named after the Grenadier 4X4, a
vehicle INEOS says combines British spirit and design with German engineering rigor to
provide world-class off-road capability and durability. " Seeing the Grenadier 4X4 next to
the VLEC (at the christening ceremony) was simply spectacular, " says David Thompson,
chief executive officer of INEOS Trading & Shipping. " In February, we launched the Pacific
INEOS Belstaff, then the world's largest ethane carrier, and today alongside our highly anticipated
Grenadier 4X4, we have added the second of the world's largest VLECs to our
