Aethon Hires Electric Fleet From BJ Energy Solutions
THE WOODLANDS, TX.-BJ Energy
Solutions has entered a three-year fracturing
services agreement to provide Aethon Energy
with a second TITAN™ fracturing
fleet. The TITAN fleet will be deployed
for Aethon in the first quarter of 2023, BJ
says, adding that it will be the fifth operating
in the Haynesville play.

Audubon To Help LLOG Reuse Independence Hub
HOUSTON-Audubon Engineering
Co. LP announces it has entered an agreement
with LLOG Exploration Offshore
LLC to support its Salamanca floating
production system project in the U.S.
Gulf of Mexico. LLOG is acting as project
manager for Salamanca FPS Infra LLC.
The scope of work includes detailed
design services as well as procurement,
vendor equipment management, construction,
pre-commissioning and offshore
commissioning support, Audubon Engineering
says.
Rather than undertaking a new build,
LLOG will repurpose the existing Independence
Hub facility. This makes the
project the first time in the Gulf of Mexico
that an operator will have accomplished
such an undertaking for an existing semisubmersible
production facility, Audubon
says. According to the engineering firm,
reusing rather than abandoning Independence
will have several environment, sustainability
and governance benefits, including
reducing emissions by approximately
70% compared with new unit
construction.

Aethon deployed the first TITAN fleet
in February 2021. Since then, BJ Services
says, the natural gas-powered, eight pump
fleet has:
· Performed more than 7,000 pumping
hours;
· Displaced more than 10.1 million
gallons of diesel;
· Reduced greenhouse gases by
26,400 metric tons of carbon dioxide
equivalent when compared with conventional
equipment; and
· Improved well site efficiencies with
consistent utilization beyond 450 hours
a month.

Tenaris Joins Association
Of U.S. Steel Manufacturers
HOUSTON-The Steel Manufacturers
Association, a trade organization representing
the American electric arc furnace
steel industry, announces that Tenaris in
the United States has become a member.
