Cudd Well Control Builds
New Global Headquarters
HOUSTON-After a yearlong planning
and construction phase, Cudd Well
Control has unveiled its new global headquarters.
The company says the 27,000square-foot,
state-of-the-art facility expands
its presence in the greater Houston
metroplex and consolidates offices and
warehousing in one location.
" In the past year, we have invested in
technology, built strong alliances, grown
our team, and now we are physically expanding
our footprint with the new headquarters
in the greater Houston area, " relates
Cudd Well Control President Andy Ferguson.
" The new facility will improve efficiency,
collaboration and offerings while
providing an exceptional work environment
for our employees and our customers. "
The facility has the space to hold advanced
well control training on site and to
act as an emergency response center for
customers, Cudd Well Control says, adding
that the facility's grounds feature a retention
pond where well control equipment can
be demonstrated. An additional laydown
area at the facility allows Cudd's sister
companies to showcase their equipment
and service lines to customers as well.
Moving both the office and equipment
to the same location will streamline
internal communications and efficiencies
between departments to further accelerate
response times, Cudd predicts.

SLB Begin Acquiring Survey Of Green Canyon
OSLO, NORWAY-In collaboration
with SLB, TGS announces the Engagement
III ultralong offset ocean-bottom
node (OBN) survey in the Green Canyon
area of the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.
The 111 Outer Continental Shelf
block survey is already underway, with
acquisition expected to be complete in
April 2023, TGS reports. Following the
success of previous projects, imaging
uplifts will be delivered by applying
full-waveform inversion velocity model
building utilizing the ultralong offsets.
TGS and SLB are collaborating
on Engagement
III. The survey,
which the companies
describe as
the fifth multiclient
ultralong offset OBN
acquisition in the
Gulf of Mexico, extends
data coverage
south from prior
phases.

producer serving the Haynesville Shale.
