RWI Opens Midland Office To Sell Water Evaporators
GRAND JUNCTION, CO.-RWI Enhanced
Evaporation has opened a Midland
office. The company says the office will
support its evaporation systems, which
allow operators to mitigate liability concerns
associated with injecting water into
saltwater disposal wells by reducing water
volumes as much as 80%.
Unlike evaporators using slightly-revamped
snowmaker machines, RWI's
Landshark and Apex 2.0 inject droplets
into the middle of the flow to reduce
droplet collisions, RWI describes. The
company says this more efficient process
keeps particles' size above 75 microns to
eliminate " daughter " particles that float
off site, carrying contaminants to surrounding
areas.
The new office is in the historic Petroleum
Building at 214 W. Texas Avenue,
Suite 1010. RWI notes it will host employees
involved in sales, installation and
engineering services.

Helping Hands Enters Haynesville Area
HOUSTON-Oilfield Helping Hands
(OHH), a nonprofit that assists oil field
families in financial crisis through no
fault of their own, has opened a Haynesville
chapter to serve East Texas and
Northwest Louisiana.
With an active chapter in the Haynesville
geographic region, OHH says
even more upstream oil industry employees
will be able to meet the eligibility criteria
for assistance from OHH. The organization
adds that a strong leadership team already
is in place to head the chapter, with Ashley
Thomas as its inaugural president.
" This new chapter expands OHH's
reach into another oil field-centric region,
bringing our supportive spirit and financial
assistance to a new group of people, "

DEERFIELD, IL.-Caterpillar Inc. has
acquired Enhanced Energy Group Inc.,
which operates as CarbonPoint Solutions
and is a provider of technology for concentrating
and capturing carbon dioxide.
Carbon capture systems with CarbonPoint's
patented processes can be applied
to engines and turbines at oil and gas sites,
distributed power and industrial plants and
waste-to-energy sites, Caterpillar mentions.

Petroleum Congress
Recruits Lance As Speaker
HOUSTON-The 23rd World Petroleum
Congress, which is scheduled to take
place Dec. 5-9 at the George R. Brown
Convention Center in Houston, reports it
has added Ryan Lance, ConocoPhillips'
chairman and chief executive officer, as
a plenary speaker. Lance and Anders
Opedal, Equinor's president and CEO,
will share their perspectives in the plenary
session " Shaping the Energy Future. "
Other plenary speakers include Vicki
Hollub, president and CEO of Occidental,
who WPC says will join Mele Kolo Kyari,
Nigeria National Petroleum Corp.'s group
managing director, in the session " Building
Partnerships. " According to WPC's website,
the speaker list also features executives
from Diamondback Energy, Hess, Pioneer
Natural Resources, Woodside, BP, Repsol,
Saudi Aramco, Algerian national oil company

Honors Ann G. Fox For Drive To Better Society
HOUSTON-Nine Energy Service
Inc.'s president and chief executive officer,
Ann G. Fox, has been named the 2021
Semper Fidelis award honoree by the
Marine Corps Scholarship Foundation.
According to MCSF, the Semper Fidelis
Award recognizes an individual " who has
demonstrated a recurring commitment to
an effort which contributes to the betterment
of our society. " Fox is the first woman in
Texas and first female veteran Marine to
receive the award in its 60-year history,
Nine says, noting that past recipients include
President George W. Bush, Rick
Perry and James A. Baker III.
" I'm truly humbled to receive this
award from the MCSF. This award is a
testament to all the veterans across the
country who have served and sacrificed
for our country. I am deeply grateful
for their service, " Fox says.
In the Marine Corps, Fox worked
with a small team embedded in southern
Iraq to ensure Iraqi Security Force combat
operations were consistent with U.S.
counterinsurgency tactics. Following the
Marine Corps, Fox served at SCF Partners,
a private equity firm focused on energy
services. She joined Nine in 2013 and
has held numerous roles, including chief
financial officer and vice president of
strategic developments. As Nine's president
and CEO, Fox led the company's
inital public offering in January 2018
and has since completed two significant
technology acquisitions, Nine relates.❒
