Cessna 210 versus Beechcraft Bonanza An AOPA Fly-Off with a somewhat surprising result was the contest between a modified Cessna 210 Centurion and a Bonanza A36. The Centurion won both the high- and low-speed contests-a rarity for these events. The Centurion had received a major boost with the addition of a Continental IO-550 engine, and the increase in power allowed it to outperform a Bonanza with a nearly identical engine.
