Where to go for information on COVID-19 protocols for
international travel

Since early spring, 2020, our lives have been disrupted in one way or another by the virus
COVID-19. Whether or not you have been closely affected by the illness itself, daily life has
been altered. Restrictions related to masks, testing, vaccines, and travel have ebbed and
flowed and varied greatly from one place to another. This makes the lives of corporate
flight crews more challenging than ever.
We are no longer just navigating the typical differences in customs and border restrictions
for an international flight. COVID-19 has created a whole new world of ever-changing
requirements for us to maneuver around. There are so many new questions that need to
be answered while planning an international trip now, including:
" Is the country restricting travel from the United States? "
" Do the crew or passengers need to be vaccinated? "
" Is there a required quarantine period? "
" Is a COVID-19 test required prior to departure and/or after arrival? "
" What are the requirements for someone who is not vaccinated? "
" Is there a requirement to register with the country prior to travel? "
