CSPM Student Wins APMWA Student Writing Competition
Daniel Jones, a third-year student at the California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, has been named the winner of the 25th Annual American Podiatric Medical Writers Association (APMWA) Student Writing Competition. His paper was titled, “Continuing Education: UnlockDaniel Jones ing the Door of Opportunity.” This is the second consecutive year Jones has won this competition. Jones will receive a $1,000 honorarium from a special endowment made to the APMA Educational Foundation by Dr. and Mrs. Steven Berlin. The award for honorable mention went to Brian Schmidt, a third-year student at the Dr. William M. Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine at the Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science for his paper, “A Microcosm of Customer Service and Customer Care.” n
