APMA Committee Nominations Requested Looking for a way to be more involved with APMA? Consider submitting your name for consideration to serve on an APMA committee. APMA President-elect Joseph M. Caporusso, DPM, requests nominations for APMA board committee assignments. Assignments will become effective at the close of the 2012 House of Delegates on March 19. Requests for assignments should include a list of specific committees and a list of general areas of interest and expertise. If you are an incumbent on a committee and are interested in continuing to serve, you must indicate your interest by sending a cover letter indicating preferences and current curriculum vitae to: Stephanie Simmons Governance Administrator, APMA 9312 Old Georgetown Road Bethesda, MD 20814 or srsimmons@apma.org and Joseph M. Questions should be directed to the governance administrator. The deadline to submit nominations is September 1, 2011. Bylaws Propositions Due Submission of Proposed Modiﬁcations to the Administrative Procedures APMA Bylaws propositions are due to Glenn B. Gastwirth, DPM, APMA executive director and CEO, by October 1. Submissions can be mailed to the attention of Dr. Gastwirth at the American Podiatric Medical Association, 9312 Old Georgetown Road, Bethesda, MD 20814. APMA’s Bylaws and Procedures Committee will review the submissions and present them, with comment, to the regular meeting of the House of Delegates, March 18–19, 2012, in Washington. Additionally, members are encouraged to submit any proposed modifications to the APMA Administrative Procedures as soon as possible for consideration by the Bylaws and Procedures Committee. Such amendments should be submitted in the form of a proposition following the same process used to propose a modification to the APMA bylaws. What does Glenn say?
