Standard of Value
The standard of value is driven by the Stark and Anti-Kickback laws, which apply to any practices that receive Medicare
or Medicaid reimbursements. These laws require purchase/sale
transactions to take place at "fair market value." As a result of
the Stark and Anti-Kickback laws, physician practices comprise

value of the seller's practice is very important.
