We all remember the financial
challenges of being a podiatric medical
student. Scholarships from the APMA
Educational Foundation Student Scholarship Fund make a difference for deserving podiatric medical students.
For podiatry to continue to grow and thrive, we need to
support our future-our podiatric medical students. Your
support helps to reduce their financial stress and eases one
of the burdens our students face in realizing their goal of
being a doctor of podiatric medicine.
Foundation scholarships help our colleges of podiatric
medicine recruit the most qualified applicants. The best-qualified students will become leaders who continue to advance
our profession.
The APMA Educational Foundation is the only national
funding resource devoted to podiatric medical students.
The foundation annually awards 200 or more scholarships
to qualified third- and fourth-year APMA student members
enrolled in our colleges. Please consider what you can do to
make your life and the life of one of our students better.

PICA's Matching Grant in Support of the APMA Educational Foundation
In 2019, PICA once again challenged APMA's House of Delegates with a matching grant of
one dollar for every dollar raised,
up to $25,000.
"PICA is privileged to support
every aspect of the podiatric profession from the students to the seasoned practitioner," said Ross E. Taubman, DPM, president of PICA. "Our APMA Educational Foundation Endowment helps us fulfill our mission: We exist to protect podiatrists."
Thanks go to APMA delegates, staff, and affi liated organizations for
contributing more than $30,000, securing PICA's matching grant. By the
end of HOD, the foundation raised more than $77,000 in support of student scholarships.
PICA is a corporate partner of APMA and a foundation supporter with
a Visionary-($500,000) level named endowment that has been in existence
since the early 1990s.
