Y our House of Delegates (HOD) met March 16-18 in Washington, DC, and examined a variety of critical issues. The HOD meeting bridges the past and the future of the organization. It is an event that carries on many longstanding traditions, yet one that propels the association and its members forward with new initiatives and innovations. The 2019 meeting may prove to be a particularly pivotal moment in APMA history given the adoption of significant amendments to APMA's governance documents. David G. Edwards, DPM, remarked during his presidential speech at the HOD meeting that "APMA as an organization needs to be cognizant of the past ... and focused on the future."
