Other Opportunities to Support Students
If you missed any of the activities at this year's meeting and
would like to make a year-end, tax-deductible donation to the
foundation, read on to learn how you can support our programs. Your support will make a difference for our students
and provide the funding needed for the foundation to continue its efforts to advance podiatric medical education.

Make a gift in recognition of life events such as graduation,
recovery from illness or surgery, death of a friend or loved one,
or significant contributions to the profession. Honorees will
receive a letter to inform them a special gift has been made in
their honor. The foundation also sends letters to family members informing them of a gift in memory of their loved one.

Named Endowment
Support the profession in perpetuity. Set up a named endowment in your family's name or to honor a loved one. Named
endowments are established with a minimum donation or
pledge of $25,000 paid over a maximum of five years. The interest generated is then available year after year to support the
student scholarship fund.

Giving Tuesday Campaign
Be part of the national day of giving and participate in Giving Tuesday this year! Giving Tuesday is held annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving, which is December 3 this year. The
global celebration runs for 24 hours and begins at midnight
local time.
Donate online on December 3 at www.apma.org/donate and
be part of the giving community. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
Set up a challenge gift! Contact Director of Development

can double your impact by encouraging others to step up for
Giving Tuesday.
Show your support and spread the word on social media,
and/or create a Facebook fundraiser to benefit the APMA Educational Foundation.

Planned Giving-The Legacy Circle
Join our recognition society by making a gift through a will,
bequest, or charitable remainder trust. Legacy giving helps continue the growth and stability of podiatric medicine through student scholarships and increases nationwide awareness of foot
and ankle health.
