MASSACH US ETTS-The Massachusetts
General Hospital (MGH) is seeking a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine who specializes in
forefoot surgery and technology. This position represents a unique opportunity for the
right individual to build a highly resourced,
forefoot surgical, technology-based foot and
ankle practice at the Massachusetts General
Hospital. The successful candidate will provide
technology-based and forefoot surgical care for
a diverse range of patients having disease states
that run the spectrum of foot and ankle pathology. Candidates should be able to demonstrate
expertise in the evaluation and treatment of
a wide variety of foot and ankle pathologies.
Board eligibility or certification in forefoot
surgery is required. Knowledge and experience
in non-invasive, technology-based modalities,
including ultrasound, PRP injections, plantar
pressure analysis, and other evolving modalities, is preferred. The successful candidate will
run a high-volume, forefoot surgical, technology-based, outpatient practice in a nationally
recognized foot and ankle program at MGH.
The Division of Podiatry provides outpatient
care in a variety of MGH locations, including
the main hospital, satellite centers, and health
centers. The successful candidate must also be
able to work closely with a multidisciplinary
team including foot and ankle orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, fellows, residents,
and students. Further, they must demonstrate

a willingness and interest in podiatric research
and publication and will also participate in call
