APMA is the association for every
podiatrist-and podiatrist-in-training.
PodMed students enjoy free APMA
membership while in school and
access to numerous resources to
help prepare them for their podiatric
medical school journey, residency,
and eventually, practice.

n the last six months, APMA has expanded
its support resources for students. Many
students reported feeling a lack of connection with so many changes during the
COVID-19 public health crisis, including
many schools sending students home, loss of
clerkship opportunities, and a general sense
of uncertainty.
APMA has hosted several webinars specifically targeted at current students. These
webinars served to facilitate conversations
between current students, with third- and
fourth-year students as well as residents talking about things like their experiences in the
first two years of school, preparing for clerkships, and eventually preparing for residency.
Additionally, APMA has created a specific
logo for its student members to include in
their email signatures and published a LaugeHansen ankle fractures iBook for student use.
Students were able to attend the APMA
Online CECH Summer Series virtual conference
free of charge and are invited to participate in
this year's virtual Young Physicians' Institute.

GETTING STARTED WITH CODING:
EVALUATION AND MANAGEMENT (E/M)
