Scientific Meeting (The National), July 29-August 1
in Denver and online through the APMA Online
Learning Center. Whether you choose to participate
in-person or virtually, The National is the can't-miss meeting
for every foot and ankle physician and surgeon.
In-person and virtual attendees will earn a maximum of
29.5 CECH from a robust educational program covering a
broad spectrum of foot and ankle medicine and surgery. Additionally, all registrants will have the opportunity to attend

All attendees of The National will experience the breadth
and power of medicine, starting with our opening address
speaker. Natalie Stavas, MD, is a physician at Boston Children's Hospital with a special focus on preventing childhood
violence. During her presentation, " Running Toward Chaos, "

she will discuss her experiences and personal philosophy,
and how they have shaped her life and career.
On April 15, 2013, Dr. Stavas approached the finish line of
her fifth Boston Marathon. Just blocks away, she heard explosions and ran toward them. Arriving at the scene, she went to
work administering CPR, applying tourniquets, and triaging
the wounded. After the bombings, Dr. Stavas increased her
efforts in preventing childhood violence. This advocacy goes
beyond borders; traveling to Haiti throughout the year, Dr.
