ASHA AUDIOLOGY-THANK YOU, AUDIOLOGY HEROES!
Well, first and foremost, we choose
audiology.
For me, it is a conscious choice: In
working at ASHA, within my profession,
I choose audiology. Given the historical
legacy at ASHA, the resources that
223,000 members bring, and the
staff of almost 300, I know that ASHA
can support and work toward the
issues that audiologists find important.
This means that ASHA, too, chooses
audiology. Let's look at an actual
example: ASHA's Government Affairs
and Public Policy (GAPP) team has
been tirelessly working on audiology
initiatives throughout 2020 and
2021, and they are ready to continue
lobbying, supporting, and promoting
the issues important to audiologists.
Initiatives like this one prove to me that
ASHA, as an organization, chooses
audiology.

want you to contribute to the audiology
voice that ASHA projects. Please

team (audiology@asha.org) for ideas
on ways to collaborate and volunteer
on behalf of our profession.
