A number of themed lounge areas are available for you to chat with ASHA representatives
to learn more about programs and services, connect with colleagues who share similar
interests, or just gather and rest between sessions.
ASHA Continuing Education Lounge

ASHA Leader Ideas Lounge

Visit the Continuing Education Lounge! Charge your devices
while you relax and view your ASHA Continuing Education
(CE) Registry transcript. ASHA CE assists members in
meeting their CE needs by providing an online listing of
courses offered for ASHA continuing education units (CEUs)
through ASHA CEFind, documenting course completion
through the ASHA CE Registry and ASHA CE transcripts,
recognizing CE participation through the Award for
Continuing Education (ACE), and managing services specific
to ASHA CE Provider approval.

Visit The ASHA Leader Ideas Lounge and submit your ideas
for articles for a chance to win an iPad! You give us an idea,
we enter you in a raffle and give away an iPad to a submitter
of one of the ideas. Ideas must be formally submitted via
computer for a chance to win, however, Leader staff will also
be on hand to informally chat about what you like or don't
like, what you'd like to see more of, or any other feedback you'd
like to share about The ASHA Leader. Here's looking at you,

The publication of research is undergoing a period of
transformative change. New tools are available for authors
to maximize the visibility, use, and impact of their work.
Reviewers and editors are increasingly relying on widely
adopted standards for the evaluation of different types of
articles. And readers are faced with the challenge of how to
keep up with the ever-growing amount being published. Don't
panic-we have ample supplies of both candy and tips for
how to make sense of it all at the ASHA Journals Lounge.
Talk with us as well if you are interested in joining an editorial
board or serving as a reviewer. Also... did we mention about
the candy?

ASHA Member Services Center

ASHA staff will be on hand at the ASHA Member Services
Center to help you with all the information and services the
association provides. The AMSC is your one-stop solution
at the Convention for all of your ASHA membership needs
and can also help you with questions about the Exhibit Hall.
Special ribbons may also be found in the AMSC.

Certification Lounge

The Certification Lounge is the place to learn more about
the certification process, the current certification standards,
certification maintenance, as well as proposed and/or
upcoming changes to the audiology and speech-language
pathology standards for certification. In the Certification
Lounge, you will also be able to learn more about Clinical
Specialty Certification from staff and members of the Council
for Clinical Certification.

Circle of Support Lounge

Enjoy a light snack at the Career Fair's Circle of Support
Lounge while you participate in the facilitated miniworkshops featuring work/life balance tips, how to have
critical conversations, and how to handle the toughest
interview questions. We'll even have an expert to review
résumés. Plus, enter to win prizes. The ASHA Circle
of Support Lounge promises to be a fun and enriching
experience!
