Locally sourced reclaimed barnwood is featured as an accent material on various walls throughout the building. "This material provided a nice texture and coloring against the stained wood and stonework," says Bailey. "At the bar, the barnwood feels like an old whiskey barrel. Reclaimed heavy timber beams from Maine were used RAIL POST SLEEVE as fireplace mantels." The woodwork in the main foyer is big and bold, points out Bailey, while the woodwork found in the dining room and bar is much more intimate. "The woodwork in these two rooms draws from a variety of wood species and details to collaborate on a style that feels casual, but also refined," he notes. "It is touchable woodwork that looks and feels like it's been in place for generations. The execution from fabrication to installation is well done and by far is one of the favorite places to be in."
