HOCKER NORTH AMERICA:
Paint Blocks
Hocker North America
introduces new paint block
technology in the United States.
Industries specializing in
spray or paint finishes are
familiar with the traditional
filter material found in spray
booths. Hocker technology
takes finishing booths to the
next level by providing blocks
that extend the useful life
by more than 10 times. Each
block holds up to 16 pounds of
material and blocks only need
to be changed when full. Blocks
on the outer areas of the booth
may receive less frequency of
spray material, allowing them
to extend the useful life up to
20 times. Central
areas of the booth
have 10 times
the useful life of
traditional filler,
where a majority of spray work
is performed.
Paint blocks were first
featured by Hocker North
America at Ligna 2017 in
Hannover, Germany. The new
technology made its United
States debut at AWFS 2017.

TRADESOFT:
New Product Called
Scoreboard
TradeSoft Inc. announces
Scoreboard - a new
product that provides
myriad ways of viewing
ShopPAK job, milestone,
work order, department,
and shipping data. It runs
in two modes: unattended
and interactive. Unattended
mode is used when you
want to hang a large monitor
that displays ShopPAK
related data for a specific
department.  The user
chooses which information
to be displayed, how often
the information is refreshed,
and how the information is
filtered and sorted.  Each
instance of unattended
Scoreboard can be set
up differently so a given
department only sees the
information pertinent to that
area. 

Interactive mode is used
when a user wants to interact
with Scoreboard screens and
update data. In this mode, a
user would install Scoreboard
on a PC, laptop, or tablet, and
browse and edit ShopPAK
data that they have security
to see and/or edit.  The
big difference between
Scoreboard and ShopPAK
is ShopPAK presents
information hierarchically. For
example, you open a job, and
then drill down into job items
and work orders. Scoreboard,
on the other hand, uses grids
to present information that
cuts across as many jobs,
work orders, departments,
and ship tickets as the user
wishes.
Scoreboard uses grids
and graphic controls to
display information. It
has several management
dashboards that graphically
display operational data,
metrics and tracking history.
Scoreboard is currently
being beta tested and is
scheduled to be released
