The existing campus challenged the corporation's ability to be good stewards of its resources while being effective in its business goals. So in 2014 the company hired Gresham, Smith and Partners, of Nashville, to conduct a Development Feasibility Study and a Workplace Strategy Report to plan for the company's mission and future. Following evaluation of the study, and with real estate in Nashville being highly sought after, it became clear to LifeWay that it had an opportunity that could transform the future of the mission-led business, and the company decided to sell its existing campus and relocate to a nearby development called Capitol View.
